4. What's the best way to apply your stickers to glass?
You can apply your stickers via the following method:
1. Lightly remove debris from the surface with a microfibre cloth (with the tag removed).
2. Use a glass cleaner to remove any contaminants, allow to dry for 5 minutes.
3. Using fresh water, give the surface a good clean and dry it off to the best of your ability. Allow to air dry for a minute. This is so the adhesive sticks properly!
4. Ideally, with no wind, peel back the sticker from the backing paper and align it properly. Once in position, pin the top corners of the sticker to the surface and if happy with the position, apply pressure to the entire sticker.
5. Go over with the rag used previously over the top. Allow a minute or so for the adhesive to take effect.
6. Remove the top adhesive. And voila!
5. Are the Hikkari Panels legal for use in cars within the UK?
We've conducted extensive research, spoke with local police enforcement and referenced the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989.
The long and short answer is: It's complicated.
While we cannot advise the definitive answer, we advise the following:
- Use them while static i.e. in a car park, at car shows, etc.
- Don't drive with them on.
